Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
For your safety, you MUST wear closed toes shoes. Beyond that, dress comfortably! The axe throwing barn is outside so dress for the weather!
Is there food?
We don’t currently offer food onsite, but we encourage you to bring whatever you like or grab a bite at one of Camano Island’s local restaurants. Camano Commons is just around the corner with several great options!
What is the age limit?
The minimum age requirement to throw axes is 15 years old, with the consent of a parent or guardian.
I've never thrown an axe before. Will there be someone to help me?
Yes! We have certified Axe Throwing Coaches on site. Each party will have their own “Axepert” to teach you how to throw an axe and run you and your party through some games.
Arrowhead Ranch was built to be a place for people to be safe, have fun and dream big. In 2019, then-14-year-old JT Hagglund was searching for an Eagle Scout project. He had spoken to others about potential projects, but JT had a big dream. Having raced in the Soap Box Derby at Arrowhead Ranch, JT connected with Randy Heagle, owner of Arrowhead Ranch. Randy and JT decided to build Arrowhead Axe – a place where people could come together, try something new and share an adventure. Today, Arrowhead Axe is Camano Island’s only axe throwing venue and the only member of the World Axe Throwing League in the state of Washington!
