Youth Rocket Camp
Arrowhead Ranch Rocket Camp
Build, decorate and launch a model rocket during a two-day camp at Arrowhead Ranch. Learn basic principles of model rocketry. Students will keep their rocket at the end of camp (note: there is always the chance a rocket will end up in a tree). Ages 10-15.
Learning Goals: Students in the Arrowhead Ranch Rocket Camp will build a model rocket from a kit on Saturday, and launch their rocket on Sunday. In the process they will learn the basics of rocket science - model rocket components and their purpose, principles of aerodynamics, propulsion, and some of the physics of rocketry.
