Meet The Board
Rose enjoys seeing the remarkable things our community can do when we work together. Serving as a volunteer board member for The Camano Center, Stanwood-Camano YMCA, Community Resource Center of Stanwood-Camano, Stanwood-Camano Art Advocacy Commission, and the Sno-Isle Libraries Board of Trustees, she has helped to coordinate capital fundraising efforts to bring many of these organization’s beautiful facilities to our community. Rose attended the University of Puget Sound (BS in Economics) and Antioch University (MA in Whole Systems Design). She is excited to watch creativity, innovation and mastery flourish at the Arrowhead Ranch.
Marla is the Co-Owner of Arrowhead Ranch alongside her husband, Randy. Marla loves to welcome visitors to Camano Island and can do just that with her short-term vacation rental properties, known as Arrowhead Stay. She loves to give back to and see the Stanwood and Camano Island communities thrive. Marla loves animals, and is especially fond of her peacock Walter and peahen Betsey that live at the Arrowhead Ranch. Marla’s WHY is to give others, including herself, a sense of hope and inspiration.
Some would say Randy is a man with a dream. The Arrowhead Ranch is a dream that has come to fruition. Randy is also proud to own and operate two Windermere Real Estate offices in the beautiful Stanwood and Camano Island area alongside his wife, Marla. He feels so fortunate to live where he lives, and truly loves to give back and be involved to the community. One of his proudest accomplishments at Arrowhead Ranch was bringing the All American Soap Box Derby to the Stanwood & Camano Island Community. He lives by the motto… Be safe, have fun, & dream big!
Buddy arrived at the ranch in December 2021, joining his brother Axle. He loves the events and is very social with visitors!
What We Do
The Foundation not only sustains the Arrowhead Ranch as a safe, dedicated space for the annual Stanwood-Camano Island Soap Box Derby, but it also makes scholarships available to children who want to race but can’t afford it.
