When Randy and Marla Heagle invested in building a permanent Soap Box Derby track at Arrowhead Ranch, their dream was simple: that someday a racer from our local community would go to Akron, Ohio, and win the World Championship. That dream came true—and then some—with Bella Siddle.
2019
Bella’s journey began at Arrowhead Ranch, where she first raced in the Soap Box Derby program. The skills and confidence she gained through our local races helped propel her to the national stage, where she became a three-time World Champion. Her story reflects the mission of Arrowhead Ranch Foundation—creating opportunities for youth to dream big and achieve extraordinary goals.
2021
Bella’s standout performance at the 2021 All‑American Soap Box Derby in Akron was a milestone moment—and one for the record books. As an 11-year-old competing in the Rally Stock Division, Bella raced through five intense heats against nearly 50 top-tier young contenders and emerged victorious—becoming the first racer from Washington to win a national Soap Box Derby title since 1966. Her win at the 83rd All‑American Soap Box Derby also earned her a $3,000 scholarship, a champion’s ring, and a prestigious red jacket.

In 2023, Bella continued her incredible Soap Box Derby journey by capturing her second World Championship title at the All-American Soap Box Derby in Akron, Ohio. Competing in the Local Masters Division, Bella showcased precision driving and determination, earning another coveted champion’s ring and scholarship. Her wins solidified her reputation as one of the most accomplished young racers in the sport’s history.
2024
In 2024, Bella achieved an extraordinary milestone by winning her third consecutive World Championship title in the Legacy Division at the All-American Soap Box Derby in Akron, Ohio; three titles in four years. Her remarkable consistency and skill made her one of the most celebrated racers in the event’s history. Bella’s three-time champion status is a testament to her dedication, precision, and passion for the sport—cementing her legacy as a true Soap Box Derby icon.
