Home to the Stanwood and Camano Island Soap Box Derby, Arrowhead Ranch now offers an axe-throwing venue and a craftsman makerspace, and is open for hosting special events. Just an hour north of Seattle and located on beautiful Camano Island, Arrowhead Ranch is your Northwest destination where the whole family can be safe, have fun, and dream big.

Meet The Ranch Animals

Peacocks
The newest additions to the Ranch are two India Blue Peafowl, Walter and Betsy Cronkite. They were both hatched in 2020 at the Legg’s Peafowl Farm in Kansas City, Missouri. They are still warming up to us and visitors of the Ranch, but in no time Walter will be strutting around the Ranch showing off his beautiful feathers.

Chickens
Don’t worry about the chickens roaming around, they are peaceful and friendly. This particular breed of chicken are not meant to be meat birds but are bred to be good at laying eggs. They are the best breeds to own if you are wanting to wake up to farm fresh eggs every morning. Our chickens include, Andalusian, Buff Orpington, Karen who goes by Naked Neck, Plymouth Rock, Rhode Island Red and White Leghorn.

Onyx
Our farm has one rooster, his name is Onyx. He is a Cochin mix and is very sweet. If you are lucky, you’ll get to see him riding a scooter around the ranch, that’s one of his favorite things to do.

Cows
If you come to visit Arrowhead ranch you might hear some mooing! Our cows are very friendly and love to moo at us until we give them their favorite snack, apples. The cows are Limousin Cattle and enjoy being pet. If you don’t give them an apple or pet them while visiting they’ll make sure you know they are there by following you around the ranch!

Buddy & Axle
Axle is all black and has short hair, you’ll know it’s him by his loving personality. His litter mate, Buddy, came to live with us about a year ago, he has medium hair that is black and white. Both of them are domestic cats, love hanging out on the farm, great hunters, and enjoy being protectors of the farm!

Ash
Our bunny’s name is Ash; he is 1.5 years old. He is very soft and sweet but might be a little timid when you try to pet him. He is a unique bunny because his mom is a Flemish Giant which is the largest breed of rabbit, they can be about 2.5-3 feet long and can weigh up to 15 pounds. His dad is a Rex which are medium sized and only weigh about 7 pounds.
